grumpylinguist new rule dont use the latin
New rule: don’t use the Latin word “cum” in place of “with” in English unless it’s part of a set phrase, or you have a really good reason.
Yes I’m talking to you, Slate.
Oh and also “cum” is a post-fix so if you insist on using it then the correct form would be:
… I closed my coffeehouse yoghurtshopcum … Maybe that’ll stop you from using it :)
