Liberals won.  Note that this does not say Democrats won, because Democrats used to be the more conservative of the two parties.  Also I realize that some of these are a bit simplistic.  Still, liberals won.

This is actually pretty silly, because conservative by definition means want no change. So anything that has ever happened on the planet was opposed by conservatives and achieved despite them.
